Curt Marsh is a former American football player who played as an offensive lineman for the Los Angeles Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League (NFL). Marsh was drafted by the Raiders in the first round of the 1981 NFL Draft, and he played for them for six seasons from 1981 to 1987. He was part of the Raiders' Super Bowl XVIII championship winning team in 1984.
Curt Marsh's career as an offensive lineman was cut short due to a serious knee injury he sustained in a game against the San Francisco 49ers in 1988. Marsh sued the Raiders for allegedly forcing him to play on a knee injury, which led to the end of his football career. The case went to trial, and Marsh won a $1.6 million settlement from the Raiders.
Marsh continued to be involved in football after his retirement as a player. He worked as an assistant coach for several high school football teams in California, and he also served as a scout for the Raiders and the Green Bay Packers. Marsh was also inducted into the Fresno County Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005.
